The imagery in these works on paper, a series entitled "in my eye", combines painted images of a fig tree with photographs of nature. Three or more printed layers of gorgeous sunsets or colours taken from photographs - a field of wheat, a mountain range - are printed over a stenciled and painted image. The form of a fig tree, with its delicious and abundant fruit and its symbolic leaf, when overlaid with colour, becomes apparent.
